Regional Science Fairs

The MN State Science & Engineering Fair gathers students from across our state based on eight regions that have organized regional science fairs. Winners from each region earn a place to compete at the state level and possibly advance to national and international competitions.

DEADLINES PER EACH REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR IN WHICH TO GET ALL REGISTRATION COMPLETED, and SRC MATERIALS SUBMITTED (Five business days from the date of your regional science fair): Scholarship deadline is (4) days.

REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR DIRECTORS - Scientific Review Forms (SRC) on ALL STUDENTS WHO JUST ADVANCED TO STATE from your regional science fair are to be boxed up immediately following your fair and sent to MAS Office: 8700 West 36th Street, Box 114W, St Louis Park, MN 55426.  Office: 952-545-6789

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the MAS State Science & Engineering Fair, a student must first register and participate in a Regional Science Fair (that's affiliated with the MAS) and then be selected at that Regional Science Fair.

Teams and individual projects are allowed to compete. Select Middle School Division or High School division. For team projects, all team members must either all be in HS or all be in MS. Absolutely no mixed divisions allowed for team members.
