Nominate A Mentor

Among the many ways Minnesota Academy of Science is able to support and recognize science education in Minnesota, one of them is the annual Seagate Excellence in Science Mentoring Awards. This award from Seagate Technology recognizes outstanding science teachers who find creative ways to nurture students' interest in research and discovery, going above and beyond the classroom to promote science education and encourage students to engage in hands-on projects outside the classroom. It recognizes teachers who have been in the field for more than 10 years, with another category for teachers of 1 to 10 years.
