MAS is currently seeking FORSE volunteers for the following efforts:
Share Your Journey
Create a “STEM in 10” Video to tell the story of your career/educational path by answering 10 simple questions. Women and BIPOC in STEM are especially needed to encourage students to pursue STEM and expose them to knowledge about career opportunities. You can find instructions for creating and submitting a video HERE.
Create a STEM Activity
Create educational content by guiding students through a virtual tour, creating a video that walks students through a STEM lesson or create a printable STEM activity. More information and instructions can be found HERE.
Volunteer in a Classroom
Bring your passion and expertise for STEM directly to Minnesota students. Support Minnesota students and their STEM learning by leading a classroom activity, lesson, or career talk. Express your interest HERE or email evangeline.holley@mnmas.org.
Lead a Tour of Your Lab or Job Site
Do you work at a scientific laboratory or STEM job site? We’re looking for professionals to host field trips for high school students to explore STEM careers. Contact evangeline.holley@mnmas.org to further discuss this opportunity.
